yes its odd that many films have done the rounds here before they are even shown in uk.seabiscuit was here 6 weeks ago..love actually has been here a week and "open Range" has just finished.

if you havent seen "open Range" then this a western masterpiece along with High Noon fistfull of dollars.unforgiven,,,it really is good and even more so apart from one swear word there is no bad language at all.
what a change from so many us & brit films where a 10 word sentence needs 5 swear words.

do go and see it...if it doesnt win at next years oscars there is no justice!

Ok Martin, I will give it a chance - my original evaluation was really based on
1. western - been there, done that, got t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc.
2. Directed by Kev - Waterworld comes to mind, not really something I would want to spend money on.

Nothing else to do tonight anyway.


True about the swearwords, but imagine Love Actually without them.....

you may notice that at the shootout it takes place in real time..ie no editing for time effect.

also the sound effects are very good...the shootout reveals how inaccurate these guns were.

hope you enjoy the film and it is still at the cinema and not disappeared
