Blue Rock Butchers
Just reading the newsletter for Feb. Has John handed over the runing of the shop, or has he packed up and left CVO. Gary and I get all our meat from John as I just loved the service and quality. I would be a great pity if it was no longer under his watchful eye. I know that he had a very nice assitant who is Portuguese maybe it's been left in his capable hands, I do hope so

Hi Gary/Gaynor
From what I understand, Jonathon still owns it and the young Portuguese man is running it. Jonathon broke his foot I think in 3 places, so that is why no one has seen him around. We were in there yesterday buying stuff.

Hello,
I have just read your post. I am sorry to say but John and his family have moved abck to the u.k. Not sure who is looking after the shop or if it is still open. I know that he has no plans to return

The shop was closed when we went down to the village Wednesday and Thursday. Anyone know if it has closed for good? There was no sign on the door.
Re: Blue Rock Butchers
As far as I know, yes, it is closed for good

Re: Blue Rock Butchers
Shame but if you want to avoid supermarket meat, go to the local market.
