A friend of mine is flying into Faro tomorrow.

We were discussing what they would do in Portugal.

He is keen to visit an inland village somewhere between Villamoura and CVO, which has a pond/lake at its centre with bars/restaurants around it.

Anyone have any ideas as to this mysteryious village's name ?

I thought of Alte but I haven't noticed a lake/pond with bars and restaurants. If there is one, we'll have to take another trip. Could it be the fountain in Silves?

Alte is really pretty we often go there.
