Try Villa Domilu, a few web sites, I just tried putting in on google villa domilu in portugal and found the one I like with all the piccies. Ignore the site with whats it like, cos they talk rubbish. Its beautiful. We have been and thoroughly enjoyed it, nothing was too much trouble for them, both the indoor and out door pools are lovely, ooh you will like it I am sure. Dinner reasonable, but specials are lovely, pamper treatments wonderful. Anyway if you have a car you can always eat out for dinner , Superb setting, gorgous interior.
Another one is out of CVO but is lovely and thats Vivenda Miranda - Romantik Hotel Lagos - Algarve , again do the same search as above.
I have also been told the .'Red Onion' is a great boutique hotel with heated salt water pools etc, not sure where in the Algarve it is but friends stayed and said it was fab. Do a google search as above.
Another superb place to stay is on the cliffs beside Burgau, ten minute walk to the the beach and restuarants etc, love the beachside place right on the beach, but again if you have car, well you can eat anywhere. The website once you find the right one, again loads of searching and going through them all is the
Salsalito BED AND BREAKFAST, GUEST HOUSE, popular with the media and celebrity world, for its privacy and seclusion.
Consisting of 4 individually rented rooms, a library, a games room and a well stocked honour bar.
All rooms are equiped with bathrooms ensuite,TV / DVD with BBC and ITV channels, hair dryers, air conditioning and tea / coffee facilities.
Continental breakfast is served on the top terraces.overlooking the large swimmimg pool .
a barbecue / kitchen area out in the grounds behind the waterfall.
Private car parking, all linen and towels provided ,also towels for the pool area ,daily maid service...

Have a few others up my sleeve but thought these were a few good starters for you to peruse on the web.
