Can anyone tell me, if the 'Algarveans' theatre co. is still operating in Algarve?
I used to see them advertised in 'The News' I think. But haven't had the paper for some time.
I remember --when we were resident---talking to Geraldine of Smilers about them --I believe she was a member of the group and at that time was appearing in a Christmas show.
I only ask--as I wonder if there will be any plays on during our May holidays?
Anyone have any idea please?

yes they are still going...perform mostly in lagos..but sadly those that renovated the theatre didnt put in correct drains..hence the dressing rooms are flooded with sewage....gives a new meaning to a stinking performance
