Apparently there is wifi access at the Chinese in Lagoa.

There is an excellent Internet cafe just opposite Happys run by a very helpful guy called Paulo

I've heard only one person at a time can use it, so it pays to have a couple of spare usernames to hand.

Hemmingways free wifi for customers, they change the codes every week or so

Both Gramacho and Pinta clubhouses have free WiFi access (and also a machine that costs if you don't have a laptop)
