Parking and GNR
Parking and GNR
As it gets busier so the GNR seem to have increased their activity in areas where the posts have been moved back to reduce congestion.
Having a coffee at Imprevisto this morning we watched one officer move cars on that tried to park in the loading off loading area. He also spoke to anyone returning to their cars already parked there.
We did not see any tickets issued but I am sure that it is only a question of time.
The signs clearly state that these spaces are not for cars but only for those using the pharmacy or good vehicles loading and unloading.
Last summer because cars parked in these spaces the village came to a standstill as the trucks stopped in the road to deliver to the various business in the area.

Re: Parking and GNR
During the last few weeks we have watched several vehicles being ticketted outside the pharmacy and also in the car rental spots.
Re: Parking and GNR
Will it be OK to stop to unload cases? We are out for 2 weeks in May and have an apartment above the pharmacy. I understand I'll have to park away from the centre but I hope it will be OK to unload without getting a ticket.
Re: Parking and GNR
you are aloud to unload but they are very strickt if you leave your car too long at the parking spaces in front of hemmingway. Ofcourse some of them are more fanatic of giving fines than others. We like to watch them when we have a drink at hemmingway!
