I will be on hols in Carvoeiro with my family and niece in July. My sister will be on hols just outside Alicante and hopes to drive to Carvoeiro to collect my niece and daughter and bring them back to Spain to continue their holiday with her. Does anyone have any idea how long the drive will take and the best route to take?

I have found a route from Alicante to Carvoeiro via Cartagena, Granada and Seville with a distance of 849 km taking 8 hours 20 minutes without stops.
