There was a saxaphone player performing in the square last night and I ubderstand that there are plans for regular entertainment once the season gets underway.
Will save us the long walk down into the village and then back up again.

I think the Sports bar are organising this as they advertise it. Good luck to them for trying something different hope it works. I here there will be music again this year on the street opposite Oasis . Dont know when its starting but its supposed to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Some of the music last year was excellent.

I agree the atmosphere outside of Oasis was great, some nights people were dancing in the streets much to the frustration of motorists .

Re the sax player, he (so called) performed in the square lunchtimes a few times in the last fortnight. He's dreadful, hardly plays at all, watch out for the missed notes when he does and relies on the backing tracks to keep the interest up. Also quite loud. Waste of space and a bit of a fraud in our opinion unless you are tone deaf.

yes you quite right we have a saxophonist every wednesday night from 8 pm and its not the one from ferragudo this gentleman has already 5 nights a week booked in 5 diferent places for the summer is name is Andy Mac you should come and see him play i might even buy you a beer

We listened to a saxophonist at the Fatacil on Saturday, OMG you never heard such squeaking & screeching, it was so dire we had to move. I love the saxophone so look forward to hearing the guy playing in Monte Carvoeiro.
