Why can't they fly to Faro from Birmingham, Staverton or Coventry?

Coventry Airport closed a couple of years ago I think. We did once fly from there and it was an experience. They could only handle one plane at once and the same bloke kept reappearing as baggage loader, cleaner and barman. When you rang to check the flight times they'd ask you what time you could get there!

wouldn't it be nice if easyjet would pick you up from your front door.
slightly inconvenient for the rest of the local population
Undoubtably the pick you up charge would be hidden under a box on page 37 of the on=line booking, and the only option would be to pay for it , then pay £50 to change the booking if you want to take it off.
So please don't give them ideas.
p.s it'd be at least 99p cheaper than Ryanair though, stopping charge, pickup charge, door opening charge, closing charge, saying hello charge, showing you to your seat charge, waving to your neighbours charge, excess waving charge, excess stopping charge, excess breathing charge, excess wear on seat charge, excess charges calculation charge, being inconvenient to the staff by being there charge, use of tyre rubber charge, charitable donation to run owners yacht charge, admin charge, excess admin charge, green tax charge to cover all of the electricty used making the booking , bank charge to give them your money charge (OH they've already thought of that one)
p.s i once flew a piper cub out of coventry airport so it did exist once upon a time
Yep - thats right the 'economy' airlines do P*ss me off but where would we be without them

You just need John Travolta's house.
