Can anyone kindly tell me the phone number of the post office in CVO? I sent a registered delivery parcel back to my office in the UK last week, and landed here this morning, but the parcel hasn't arrived I might as well have brought it back with me.

I don't know the no of the Post Office, but do not panic. I have sent a couple of registered packages recently which have both taken over 10 days to arrive. I don't know what the problem is because usually registered mail only takes about 3 to 4 days to UK.

The problem is at the UK end! I spoke to a very polite English speaking Portuguese assistant at the main sorting office in Lisbon, and she tracked down the package, which had left on a BA flight to Heathrow, and was then transferred to the Royal Mail sorting office, but she couldn't go any further than that. I then contacted the Royal Mail centre and eventually got through to a very impolite and totally unhelpful woman, who could well have starred in Little Britain (computer says no!).

I cannot wait to exit this country, so if anyone wants to buy a bog roll factory, don't hesitate to to send a PM
