Definately
I know there are those who will possibly think this is a trivial post, but I find it a bit irritating to continually see this word spelt wrongly. A word search reveals it used 36 times on this forum. Please make somebody happy and spell it as it is in the dictionary - definitely

You're brave especially because you have missed a few comma's out. Who cares what the spelling is like - sometimes we are in a rush, or being disturbed by a cat, pack of wolves, kids etc. Surely as long as we understand what people are saying, does it really matter if people have hit the wrong keys.
I could get really annoyed about my kid's teachers making spelling mistakes but it doesn't surprise me!!!
PS my 8 year old son can't find the word wrongly in his dictionary?!!

Foreign
Dear 'Guest',
May I suggest you to have a look behind your life's horizon here.............. Did it ever occur to you that there are a lot of foreigners other than British on this forum as well. (Dutch, German, Swedish and so on....). It's not very nice to be that patronizing to those who are willing to follow others in their native language. Tell me what other language do you speak and write 'perfectly' beside English?
Regards
Rob.

I think you should buy your son a better dictionary. Wrongly is an adverb.
Not sure where the commas were left out, perhaps you could enlighten me. You certainly managed to put the extra one in.
As for hitting the wrong keys, I find 'a' and 'i ' too far apart to cause a typo.
If you are happy with declining standards in schools so be it.

I don't claim to speak perfect English. I was only making an observation and a wish.
I have the greatest respect and admiration for all the contributors to this site who do not have English as their first language.
I think, on examination, you will find it is not they who are making this fundamental error

Saucer of milk for Guest!
I agree with Rob, a lot of people on this website are not of English mother tongue and are making a very good effort to communicate with everyone.
I am myself a non English person and I do appreciate that it is not always the easiest language to contend with.
But then again, I do speak 2 other languages fluently
