Thanks for that Mike, that has really made me depressed. It always amuses me when you see the portuguese sitting in the sun with lots of warm layers on, and us Brits, in t-shirts and shorts enjoying the 'hot' weather. Are they wimps or are we too hardy!!

I think 'they' have the right idea. People just don't seem to wear enough clothes. Last week the temperature here got marginally above freezing and the girls were wearing flip flops! And people (mainly yer lads) out AT NIGHT without a coat.

Then spend all the rest of the time suffering from colds.
Call me old fashioned but I don't take my vest off til May.
Cast n'er a clout til may is out, innit??

I miss the view I had everyday for four years

At least they have a series of webcams which keeps this wonderful island fresh in my mind
