There is a report on the Algarve Daily news site that the Resident has new owners ?
What this will mean for the current employees and the content of the paper we will see.

In the current economic climate and the availability of a " free " Portugal News it should not come as a surprise .

You might be lucky and get it free but take it you go out early on Fridays looking for it for free. One normally has to pay for it including in the papershop in Intermache

It should stay safe as unlike the Portugal News The Algarve Resident mostly concentrates on the Algarve. It is one of the gems of wanting English language news on this wonderful part of Portiugal.
