Hi does anyone have details of the Tourist Train ie timetable stops etc etc

My general understanding is that he goes when he has enough people on the train...it was a 3 hour wait over Easter.

That is our understanding as well, apart from Tuesday's and Friday's when the train will leave at 11am from the square to go over to Ferragudo where it stops for a couple of hours before coming back to Carvoeiro.

Also, the train does not stop to pick up or drop people off going around Carvoeiro, it is just a round trip. It used to stop around the village a few years back but the taxi drivers didn't like that as they thought it was taking away their business. I belive the cost for around Carvoeiro is about €3 and the trip to Ferragudo about €10, but don't quote me on that one!

Our grandkids enjoyed trip.

Nice little train and visitors love it. I wonder has he changed the routes as he now heads up Monte Dourado and I can't recall that last year, also this year I noticed he came down the hill past Rascals/Tia Ilda and last year noticed he came down the hill beside Dirty Nellys.

I think he chooses the route that causes the greatest road congestion
The driver never seems to think to pull over when he has a queue of traffic build up behind him.

Chill out BW. You're in a holiday resort. Poke you tongue out at the little brats at the back and enjoy the sedate pace.

Great way to pass an hour or so. My little girl loves going on the train and at €3 you cant complain about price either

May be at night, he takes his 'company vehicle' home via the N125 route!
