Has anybody used the car hire company Algarve Driver.com and if so what did you think of them.
I have just a had a quote from them and they seem quite a bit cheaper than the competition which i know is not a bad thing but it just made me a little bit wary.
I hope somebody can answer this rather dull query.

dont know this one Al but if you go online for Faro airport theres about 4 cire hire co.s that are reasonable.They deliver to airport for you to pick up.But what ever.Make sure you get one with air conditioning!
Also think the care hire at hotel Sol on the beach at cvo is reasonable too.

I can promise you the service and the cars are OK!

Go no further than Zitauto. They have a car park area at Faro airport. Consistently the cheapest. They do not want a desk at the airport because if they had one the prices of the car hire would be higher.

ditto guest on Zitauto. We always use them to book for our clients, and they are consistently better priced and more reliable, an d no quesues or buses to the car hire depot.

And, how this for service. On boxing day 2001, I totalled on e of thier cars in Lagos after suddenly going back into English driving mode and turning left without looking ahead. Boom! one wreched punto. Two hours later they hasd a new car delivered to us in Lagos.

Can't imagine Avis smiling nicely and offering that kind of service.
