does anybody know if they us A22 or N125 used polo tours in May and they used 125 much prefer transfer using A22 and as we are next out end of June the 125 will even busier than May

end of June won't be THAT busy Dave, school hols mid July & August are the insane months; why not just give €10 to the driver of whichever company it is and ask him to get on the motorway?

I asked the driver to do that last month and he told me company policy was not to use it? doesnt bother me that much but we are bringing 4 yr old grandaughter and 9 month old baby so really I was looking to cut down on transfer time thanks anyway for your suggestion

As I mentioned in my post on the A22 Tolls Topic, it seemed to us when we were there during the last two weeks in May that virtually all the transfer vehicles were using the N125. Ours certainly did, in both directions. Talking to other people whilst we were there we found that every one who had used transfer services had travelled on the N125. Whenever we crossed over, under or aongside the A22 in our hire car during the fortnight, we didn't spot any transfer minibuses and very few coaches, in fact traffic was very light.
Perhaps when things settle down transfer companies may be granted concessions so that they can use the A22 at a more advantageous rate. I wonder if they are pushing for this already?
Incidentally, I checked the prices at YellowFish after someone mentioned them to me, but I found them a bit pricey compared to others at Faro and used another company which was half the price.

I have booked my transfers via the TravelRepublic website. Last year it was BesTransfers4U (from memory £22 return for two people). Last month it was A2B Transfers (once again via TravelRepublic), The fare was £19.75 return - Faro to Albufeira - for two people. It was a 12-seat minibus, There were three couples on board. The first couple got off in Vilamoura, we got off in Albufiera and the last couple were going on to Praia da Rocha, so it was a quick transfer. There is a number to call the day before you return to confirm your pick-up time for the journey back to the airport (which is usually three hours before flight departure time). One strange thing - I found that booking transfers via the TravelRepublic website was slightly cheaper than booking with the transfer companies direct.
