We are shortly going to be starying at the Colina Da Lapa and from what I can gather I think it will be best to hire a car. Does anyone have any recommendations ? We ideally would like the car to be delivered and picked up from the hotel itself ? Many thanks.

If you have not already booked have a look at Economy Car Hire. If you register with them you can then see who the renters are against the quotes. They also provide extra insurance for a small fee that covers glass etc.. At least of of their options will be Drive4Fun who now offer transponders for hire which makes the use of the A22 and paying the tolls much easier. Have a read at some of the other posts and the one at the top "Tolls on the A22" which may help you decide on your options.
