playoasis
Hi Suzy
Playoasis is a big soft play/ball pit type place on the outskirts of Carvoeiro, on the back road (not coastal) between Sesmarias and Ferragudo. Apparently it has a lovely terrace/bar where you can sit and watch the children. I don't know whether there is an age limit though so you may want to look into that. There is a website; www.playoasis.com although it doesn't have a huge amount of info on it.

thank you all for your help looking forward to sept
Suzy- you will find PlayOasis fantastic for your four and six year olds, but probably not particularly interesting for the older two - as BobT suggests the beaches would probably be more entertaining for them.
Have fun

advice re Playoasis
Thank you Graham for your information it is appreciated.
We've come back from a week's holiday/househunting expedition and we went to the PlayOasis while we were there. We had a roast chicken lunch last Sunday while our 2 year old thoroughly enjoyed himself in the play area. There is a small area for under 3s to play and a bigger area for under 12s. We didn't get to see outside though as the weather was absolutely awful (as it was for most of our stay
)
