Last year an English couple ran a little mini-market in the 'old' golf shop up at Monte CVO, near Mamma Mias - can't remember their names.

It was v handy for the week or so we were there, esp as AliSuper had shut a year or so before - Is it still open?

There is also a nice cafe opened on the roundabout at Monte CVO, it also sells some interesting gifts

Is that the one right at the top of the hill on the bend - was shut for about 4 years? Used to be a gift shop and sell ice creams years ago if i remember rightly

It was still there last week

yes the shop is still there, and they have opened a new cafe and bar in the square next to the jazz bar.

Does that mean one of the Stone Steak places has gone? - the jazz bar is between the Cocktail Garden and Fernados.

I shall investigate soon (whilst drinking one of Tricky's many many many beers she must owe me by now ).
