Do not know where the home page gets the weather forecast but it is way out, yesterday was 34c (shade temperature) so imagine what it is in the sun.

I'm an amateur meterologist and use the UK Met Office observations and other reputable networks, I can see that all inland southern Portugal sites including Lisbon were over 40 C (104F) in the shade yesterday, Faro was 33 C (91F) and Sagres 29 C (84F) so a little less hot on the coast with a SE breeze.
I look with envy as in the UK we have yet another gloomy wet cold day in the middle of summer, some parts of the UK have had less than 20hrs sun in July up to the 19th!......still I'm coming to CVO for 6 weeks from 11th September, cant wait!

I've been an amateur uphill swimmer for the past 56 years, that's because I've lived in Buxton for 56 years,we should start an uphill swimmers club.

Anyone noticed that on the official Portuguese Met Office website (above) Lagoa is always about 4-5 degrees cooler than anywhere else.
Anyone know why?
