There's been quite a few comments on here over the years about thieves breaking in while you were asleep and stealing from you - some have even reported the thief actually entered the bedroom while they slept!
This PIR Alarm from Maplins (
CLICK HERE) should give you peace of mind and allow you to sleep knowing that no one is going to creep about when you're asleep.

Both items are very useful and a very good price, cheap, effective security.

You can buy similar ones off e bay from £5.45 delivered. My concern is if you have them in the bedroom, what happens when u get up in the night for a pee?? you have to have them mounted outside??

I didn't suggest in the bedroom, but certainly in a part of the property that thieves might gain access to. They are loud enough to wake the dead. Perhaps the beam alarm could be used more effectively?
