Just passed 2 trishaws (tuktuks) in Sesmarias - looked brand new.

Is this something I missed during my summer vacation or is it a new transport system for the area ?

Strangely enough we have just seen two of the yellow things driving past near monte santo. The logo in the back said 'mar plan' or something similar. No idea where they start or finish tho

It will be very interesting to see how they manage up some of the CVO hills - never known to be overpowered even when new! :?

Good luck with the venture.

Here in Lyme Regis as many are aware, hills are the bain of everyone's life as to get in or out of Lyme there is a bloody hill.

We have a resident tuk tuk that deals with the hills with no problems and is used for many a wedding or taking a visiting dignitary out and about decked in all of its glory.
Have used it on many an occasion, especially to get me up to the Golf club for lunch to join hubby on a Sunday after his round of golf.
( When not working - this is where he is found unless he is caring for me) xx

We tried and tested the tuk tuks and were also worried about the hills, but even Solferias was a piece of cake! The only comment from the driver was the number of speed bumps Carvoeiro now has. Absolutely brilliant service and a lovely way to get around. Highly recommended

Someone has their finger on the pulse, good response from AGTT. What about a local taxi service too.
