The only one I saw politely handing out leaflets was the part-time waiter from Indiano.

I too would be interested in peoples comments but surely this should be in 'Restaurants' and not 'General Carvoeiro' !!

Paradise was kind of average O Indiano far more authentic and consistent, try the Keema peas there not on the menu but are just delicious,Masie I'm sure it's just an oversight regarding putting this thread on the incorrect listing so don't worry about the moaners there happy being pedantic.

I'm hearing very conflicting views on this place also - suppose I'll need to go try it myself and see :D

I used the Paradise restaurant once on our recent visit for a takeaway meal. I paid and ordered the meal and collected it about half an hour later. I noticed that they had not taken off the 10% discount advertised for takeaway meals and queried this when I collected it. The chap said that we did not want the poppadoms then? The inference being that if we had paid the full price we would have had the 'freebies'. This peeved me and I have to say that the currry was of average quality. There are better Indian restaurants in the town and I for one will not be returning to the Paradise restaurant again.

Don't understand why restaurants do this. Why not advertise the take away price in the first place, (unless of course you never intend to actually give the 10% discount )

We ate here in October and found it very poor and expensive, it's seemed strange that for a curry house there was no smell of curry, apparently they have a restaurant in Quarteira maybe it was a take away from there, it took long enough for it to be served!

I just ate the exact same meal in both oindiano and paradise on consequitive days...the difference in quality is bordering on embarrassing.

Paradise was extremely poor in comparison.... I can't understand why anyone would eat there when oindiano is 5 mins walk away.

Neither are cheap, but I left oindiano feeling like I had good value for money. I left Paradise feeling I'd just been ripped off with a meal made from half a bottle of HP tomato sauce :(
