We will b heading back soon and one of the things we like about the Algarve and Carvoeiro is the quality and availability of good live music.

Has it started yet in Bradys and the other usual venues ?.

Brady's had a great Duo playing on St Patricks night.
However I thought most people wanted a little peace and quiet on holiday. Don't know about the other venues I'm afraid, but there is a Guy out here at the moment roaring around the village at all times of the day and night in a Lambourgini. Now that is music to my ears!

Music has started at Brady's but I don't think it settles into its normal schedule until Easter. Who is playing and when is on the blackboard outside.

Passed Brady's today and billboard had listings for every night bar Thursday.

Is there anything scheduled for the Square this year ?

If there is music in the square I hope they have some new sounds and acts.... I have been hearing the same set for the past 10 years from our balcony...

Gaynor, can we not tempt you to dust off the microphone and entertain the masses in the square. After all, you will be there. I would book a flight just to hear you sing

A whole load of tents have been erected in front of the Soares off-licence but no sign of a music stage by the beach, yet!

I've heard her sing - you won't need to book a flight - just open your windows in Sale, that'll do it

anybody know how to enlarge this so we can see what events are in the square this year (looks like 01/06 to end of September this year, longer than previous years?)

Tried saving and importing into a photo shop type programme (GIMP). But as the original in out of focus, I just get a larger out of focus image which is unreadable. Wonder if it appears a bit clearer in another Algarve site somewhere?

Have seen an advert for a "Black & White Night" on Carvoeiro beach on 21st June. Starts 2000 hrs. finishes 0400 hrs. Anyone know what that's all about?
