We are travelling from cvo to lisbon . The boys are watching the footy eng v france. whilst the boys are watching, the girls want to shop . does anyone know whether estoril is near to where the footy is being played and if so, how can we get there.

Rosie, hi….....no Estoril is not close to where the footy is, and its not the kind of thing to do in the time it takes to play a game of footy…….a day out for the whole family more like….....Estoril is easy to find: by metro to Cais do Sodre (end of the green line) then mainline train to Cascais……Estoril is the stop before Cascais (end of the line)……A good way to do it is go to Cascais for a few hours….maybe lunch there…..then walk along the path at the top of the beach to Estoril where you can catch the train back to Lisbon……hope this makes sense….
