Yes, it will be very hot - I am not due over again this year!! I never iron prior to packing and always make sure our accommodation has an iron and ironing board. Then, when we arrive, I unpack and iron everything before hanging the clothes up. Then we look relatively smart when we are about town. Maybe a little sad, but I don't like the creased look !

arrived last night, in the rain!! and it was cold!!

lived here 11 years & never experienced that before.

today started cold but warmed up, forecast is for rising temperatures, thank gawd!!

Been here since Thursday and the only weather blip was yesterday. Back to glorious hot weather today

Days of course - can already taste the Long Island Iced Teas at the Cocktail Garden - which is usually followed by waking up on Sunday morning wondering where I am and what happened

only 20+ sleeps until youngest son and me travel out................likely to pick up the pieces from oldest son and his pals already being there for a week!! Will give me a chance to clear up for my wife and other family flying over in September. Been toooooo long since enjoyed a beer in Hemies, Rascals, Tony's et al!!

since arriving in the rain the weather has warmed up beautifully, in the mid 30's, blue skies, gentle sea breeze, happy days!

but I don't want the clock to move quite as fast as you do

Poor you ain't - not even sure about the pensioner bit either!

11 days fancy going on a boat trip from Carvoeiro beach - does anyone know what time of day is best to go - would like to see in the caves so I'm guessing it would be low tide. Any idea when that is likely to be in August?
