What happened to Chit Chat?

The Chit Chat forum has changed to "The Coffee Shop"
A place for those who love Carvoeiro to meet informally and just talk.
Unlike all other forum areas, The Coffee Shop will only be visible to members of the Coffee Shop. Newly registered members can not see it - they can however apply (please PM or email webmaster@carvoeiro.com after having participated in the main fora for a while and thus proved to be genuine.
The main advantages of this new policy are;
* New (or present) members can't create a new or additional user accounts and start trolling, flaming etc.
* Moderators can remove "Coffee shop" privileges from the members having a hard time understanding forum etiquette, without having to shut them out of the main forum.
