Live Jazz

Hi all
I will be in Carvoeiro in June with my dad who is a Jazz musician and was wondering if there is anywhere that has live Jazz on.My Dad is thinking of bringing his Clarinet if there is somewhere suitable to Jam with other muscians.

There used to be a live jazz bar up in CVO Square on the corner, someone will know if tis still going strong, I loved it up there,great time had by many.
Otherwise check with Dave who used to have the Jailhouse as he will know where one can jazz it up .
Anyway get him to bring it and liven up a few of the pubs, they will love it as would I if we were out there then, however we shall be in Cabanas de Tavira for a week mid June.

The Lagoa Jazz Festival normally takes place at Sitio das Fontes in Estombar in June. It's an open air gig in the amphi theatre there - perfect location with the springs in the background and toads croaking. Well worth a visit. Google Lagoa Jazz Fest and also look on Youtube.

Is there a Jazz Club at Monte Carvoeiro? Sure I've seen boards outside advertising jazz music.
