Well Ellie, as one pop singer put it, "it's the end of the world as we know it".

Hidden deep in the mountains the town itself is one big cul-de-sac with some roads to nowhere leading into the forrests sorrounding it. Went to a lumber camp nearby a few months back and all we saw in the centre of town was a café which served weapons grade bagaço, a small shop, a chapel.....and that was about it.
Needless to say, a car is a must, the nearest proper town is Monchique about 20 mins drive down windy mountain roads and it is about the same again to get to Silves or Portimão.

.....and by the portuguese navy for de-greasing engines
Although, last night it was probably also applied by many to remove any memories of the last 120 seconds of the England match.

Drank it once, swore, then swore never to touch it again
