Goodbye Summer

Well done Carvoeiro.
It was a pretty darn good fireworks show last night. About 20 mins of multi-coloured showers and huge bangs.

I am tempted to ask, "What summer?" We have only had lunch twice in the garden this year, not so much wet, but cold winds.
It's been "Goodbye summer" pretty much for the past week or more, here in the South East of the UK, and today, Bank Holiday Monday, it's been raining all morning and forecast to do so all day.
Yes, we should have moved to live in CVO some years ago, but we didn't!

Agreed dennisg!! What summer?? Noticed today that the two fig trees we have are starting to shed their leaves! Also, this has been the worst year for weeds on the gravel driveway, never seen so many weeds!! Think the combination of rain and humidity been the cause.

But today's Herald says Scotland possibly in for an Indian Summer with higher than average temperatures for September to November!

Off to mow the lawn before next shower of rain!!
