We have a house on the edge of Quinta do Paraiso and try and spend as much time there as possible, mostly in the school holidays. We try and invite friends to come with us but I am often there on my own (ie without hubby) with our two teenagers 14 and 17.They would like to meet up with other young people who live here or visit often as they get bored especially if the weather is not so good.

Hi Caroline,
Can you give me more info on your teenagers, my daughter is 17 in September and also gets bored when she doesn't bring a friend out with her. We will be there the last two weeks in July staying at our villa which is about 5 minutes walk from yours. My daughter is thinking about going to the communal pool in QDP in order to meet either girls or boys during that period.

Hello Caroline,
We will be staying at a villa in Vale do Milho from 7/7/04 until 21/7/04 with our two girls, aged 13 and a half and 17 and a half, and they are making noises about the lack of company:wrinklies don't count.
If your children are interested in meeting up (or sussing ours out via e-mail!), send a private e-mail please.

We will be staying at Rocha Brava throughout the holidays and I will have my 16 year old daughter with me from 20th July. My husband her 21 year old sister and a friend are coming on 1st Aug but until then she is on her own. After a week her friend leaves and as there is such an age difference with my girls they do not want to be seen with one another. So anyone is welcome.
please e-mail me privately if you would like to meet my grls.

My 15 year old son would be quite interested in meeting your daughters, he reckons they'd never be board, not quite sure what he means there

Seriously, the local kids (boy and girls!) meet up down on the town beach good or bad weather, I'm sure they wouldn't mind a few more friends. At night they all meet down in the square and hang about on the beach until about midnight

Hi Caroline,
We have a villa on QDP and, like you, spend as much time there as we can. I will be out there with our 17yr old son from 6th - 24th August and he has a friend of his joining us for the last week. (Our 19yr old daughter finds our company too boring to join us !). Would be very happy to meet up with you and introduce teenagers when we are out there. If you want to e-mail me we can fix something up.

Thanks for getting in touch via forum, probably best if I e-mail people individually as we arent out until 10th August as various other commitments have got in the way this Summer. To the guest who thinks the weather is always good in CVO, its often very windy in Monte Carveioro and can also be wet and cold!We even get frost occasionally in the Winter and are glad of our woodburning stove!

thanks to anyone who has tried to e-mail me.I am not very good with computers, its a bit of a learning curve but they may have been returned because a connection at the back had been dislodged by my over zealous cleaner!I will be replying individually and thanks for getting in touch.
