Think it being deposited over the UK! Can't recall last time my back garden had flooded patches for so many days! Decking and slabs not been dry for weeks. :(

Now you know how hot and dry the summer was. We need a wet winter :(

It's easy to joke, but unless we do get a very wet winter, we probably face severe water shortages next summer.
I have never seen the barragem anything like that low in the last 12 years

Only 220 mm since March...
Not really much water. (110 fall in one day!)
I think about 600 mm average is expected to fall each year.
Monchique is quite different, 2000+ mm may fall yearly.

We did wonder of the Arade had been drained for maintenance....anyone been up to the Funcho to see what that is like?

You might have a point there Geoff. Found this november 13 post on facebook (cached) that says its empty for maintenance and should be cleaned up.

Hi Rui
Long time no see.....given up the e-cigs yet?

Anyway, my Portuguese is very limited, but :
Vamos?
does sound as if there was a lot of plastic rubbish in there...and a 4X4 ??
