Anyone know what's going on?
Must say, the traffic flows much easier without those lights!

I agree much better, but you have to careful at the lights near the Fatacill which flashing amber as the view up the road is obstructed

Yes that silly turn at Lagoa central with the silly lights is all being turned into one big sensible roundabout.
... as is the junction at the Fatacil and also at the International school.
Its all far too sensible for Portugal, so I am mystified.

Even with the road works traffic is flowing better in Lagoa. Doubt the benefit at the Fatacil junction but yes at the International School. A few years now since the last frenzy of roundabouts; silly ones like the odd shapes at Estombar and near Parchal. They are not useful at all. Interesting to see what chaos this causes on the 125 as the holiday season approaches but long term a good thing.

There are a number of changes all the way down the n125 including a couple more Roundabouts where there was previously traffic lights, may be this is the long awaited improvements they have been talking about for sometime?
