The village normally comes alive this weekend (Easter) when some of the wild geese return from their travels and open their doors again for the season. We are heading down next week and were wondering are pubs like the Roundup and Bradys open yet or any sign that they might open this weekend.

We are here right now, have been all week, staying at Monte Santo which we're really pleased with.
Carvoeiro is very quiet, we've been down in the square most days. Most bars and restaurants have been open all week with with very few people. Lovely still though, but never seen it so empty. We've got kids which are on Easter break but most schools including Portugese don't break up until today.

We went into the village today and confirm it is now 'buzzing' again - Easter looks like it will be busy for businesses which is very good and the fact that the weather is set to be fine for next week, can only help.

I can confirm its busy again !
