1st Christmas in CVO

We have for the first time booked a little break from 24/12 to 29/12 at Colina Verde. We are just wondering how many of the restaurants will be open during this period or is it too early to say. We are not too bothered about Christmas dinner on the 25th, tbh want to avoid it if possible !! Chinese, Indian , Portuguese would be fine. I just hope there will be a choice of somewhere to eat for the 5 nights. The same goes for bars as well. So if someone has any details of what may or may not be open , it would be very much appreciated. Regards Phil

the Portuguese celebrate Christmas, on the 24th and virtually everywhere will be closed on that day...
some of the restaurants do open again on the 25th. I can think of at least 5 or 6 in the area...

Many thanks for the reply. The 5 or 6 you mention, do you know the names of them or do they vary each year. Just want to book somewhere so at least we have somewhere to go on the 25th
