There are a couple in Portimao or we used Chateau Dax by Algarve shopping.

Surprisingly big one in Silves....up to castle, turn left, about 0.5km.....Movais Malheiros on outskirts of Portimao worth a look......both have solid quality furniture : some of the Portuguese stores stuff might look Ok but won't last : a friend's sofa broke in half when someone sat on it rather heavily!
We bought some M&S sofas , part of an offer, & shipped them out here. good value!

Agree with the suggestion about the store on the way to Silves. Has a lot of stock. We struggled to find the type of stores you get in the UK for sofas etc. In the end we bought from Multiyork in the UK and shipped a sofabed over with Algarve Removals at a good price and the quality was far better than in Portugal.
There is a big store as maybe mentioned just below Algarve Shopping - Conforma!
Then of course Ikea near Faro should be open in a few months.

I can't remember which but one of the large UK furniture stores advertises in the Portugal News that you can order from them for delivery in the Algarve - I guess they have a deal with one of the couriers but it might make it easier to organise.
