Looking in at the various facebook pages, it looked like a great night was to be had in Cvo.
So to my surprise on looking on the webcam this morning, for my daily fix, virtually the whole setup has been dismantled ready for normal activities today. I know the local council get a lot of moans, but sometimes they can get things right also.

The stage on the out road was still there yesterday.....great crowd, quite a few thousand I would guess....nice & relaxed by the church, very ravy up restaurant hill....personally, I preferred the Irish folky singer in the square a couple of years ago to this year's ? Big Daddy....and a great shame that Jailhouse Dave thought he'd take the night off!

Even some fireworks at midnight, when we called it a night.

Some of us were indeed there! It was a fabulous night and the lack of comments on this forum is most surprising. A major triumph for Carvoeiro - although maybe next year it could be a little cooler!

the atmosphere was extremely pleasant - everyone seemed to be having a good time and enjoying themselves.
little to no idiots about - relief for all !
the clean up operation was just superb. beach looked ready by 9am.

this format, layout and order of groups, music & DJ`s was spot on...

got to be one of the best music festivals in the Algarve now.

Really looking forward to next year...
