Incoming....year 6 and counting
Incoming....year 6 and counting
Hi all,
We're about to embark on our 6th straight year in CVO, and we're not staying in our usual Villa(s), rather up near L'Orange for a change (we booked late and we needed it cheaper!).
I hear that there are a few changes in terms of Restaurants from last year, so that's nice. I just wish the little train would stop off and allow us to jump on so I don't have to drive down to the town (my Wife has had a new knee replacement).
Anything else I should be aware of this year?

We live in the same area and the idea of taking your car into town is all very well but parking is almost impossible.
Depending on how mobile your wife is, it may be better to do as we do - a gentle 15 - 20 minute walk into town and a 6 euro taxi ride back.
The hill on the way is popularly known as 'cardiac hill' - for a good reason !!
Restaurant prices seem to have shot up this year so, having a car, look in the other direction where 'A Paleta' and 'Fatacil' restaurant are easily half the price. Feel free to ask me again if you want more out of town recommendations.
