Hello from overcast Swindon.

We have just returned from our 2 week holiday in Carvoeiro. We have to say that we were very impressed with the alterations to Faro Airport (much improved to last year). Had no problems with checking in or passport control. The duty free, which you now have to walk through, reminded us of the same marketing setup as Gatwick South. The only delay we experienced was at security where our granddaughter's Trunky booster seat was held back for several minutes to be examined by one of the staff, who, once he arrived immediately passed it through without even checking it.
