Hang on in there England, here comes the storm we have been warned about. Here in Somerset we have been having strong winds for the past couple of hours and now it has started to rain, we are predicted to have about 4 ins of rain in the next two days with winds gusting to 70/80 miles an hour!!
Can someone please tell me WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO SUMMER!!!!!
I am so envious of all of you in cvo, looking at the cam it looks so hot and sunny. Wish I was there now, have to wait till the end of the month, it seems a long way off.

Hey Lesley!
How are things going down in Somerset....been looking at headlines that say gales & heavy rain...trees being torn up..thousands without electricity!!!

...hope you're ok?
We've had very strong winds here in east Lincs....no rain yet!....just got my washing in....and felt real cold out there.......almost tempted to put heating on

............
Is that it now....no summer to look forward to..except our weeks hols in CVO.......
Even the weather experts are saying theyve never known a July like this.....all coming up from France apparently......
should we be worried....about these strange weather patterns?

The most bad things are allways comming from France.

(with one exception: my Renault Espace! and also another one: Steen!)

Hi, we survived! Lost an Apple tree and some branches off the Oak tree but otherwise not to bad, tubs and hanging baskets all looking a little battered, hope they come back as they were the best ones I have done so far, typical!!
There have been quite a few trees down on the Somerset/Devon border close by, and some people did loose their electric but I think it is all back on again now.
Yes Peter I agree, trust France to throw that lot at us!! mind you there are some lovely French red wines!
Hope everyone else is ok, kind of reminds me of when we were in America and we had to tape up all the windows as hurricane Gloria or was it Geraldine was on its way to New Hampshire back in 1985.
