I have seen some videos of the NYE celebrations in the square & it looked very busy did anybody on here go as I am just wondering what it was like ?

Hi, My wife and I were there with two friends. It’s the first time we’ve come over for New Year. The atmosphere was brilliant, the band and music great and the fireworks were amazing. Most of the crowd seemed to be locals and the beer tents were manned by local bars (6 bar was one). A great night and something that will bring us back for next year.

We really enjoyed NYE and the fireworks. Great atmosphere. Plus lovely weather so on the beaches and great golf weather.

Fantastic night. Great band and Fireworks. Could have done with hot chocolate kiosk. The beer was nice, but my hands were frozen by the time I finished it.
