It was SO nice to know that it was going to be a lovely day in CVO!
You may have forgotten, but this is the time of year when its almost holiday time so everybody is either getting ready to go, or really depressed because they are not going away, and there is six weeks of the school hols looming (is it me or do the school holiday's get longer each year) and a bit of info for the ex-pats, Jenson Button didn't win
the Grand Prix.

Thank you for a truly well written 'diary' of the month. Each month they are a refreshing tale from life in Carvoeiro.
You must have had the late Alastair Cooke as a mentor - because all that's missing is a recording - maybe one day!
