• Beavers

Had bit of a strange e-mail couple days ago....
About 'saving the beaver' after its re-intoduction into the UK....
I wasn't aware that we had beavers here....that we actually had beavers running wild in our rivers..well you learn something new every day

Ive deleted the mail now..but it was from a 'wild' something society...from a Mrs Sliding

Has anyone else here received one? Or d'you think its someone pulling my leg? I wouldn't put it past 'certain' members in this place

While we're at it..are there any in Portugal..I imagine if there are..they'll be up in the north

There are a lot of coypu in Norfolkj and they are sort of beaver like. Does that help?

It's coming up for the beaver season here in Algarve soon innit?

Don't know about UK beavers; saw some in a ski hotel sauna once but I think they were Swedish: natural blonds.

Thought you'd be on this one Gordon. Seems the fully grown beaver is becmong more and more a rarity these days. Just seem to be these poor skinny little things. I think they're being eradicated by the boys from Brazil.
