Being thoroughly fedup with life and climate in UK we have now made the big decision to sell up and move on.

Not interested in buying yet but would like to know the options for renting long-term.
Have in mind a town house/or nice apartment in Lagoa,or maybe the outskirts of Carvoeiro.
Ive said Lagoa as on last visit noticed an awful lot of building going on and see that it is really expanding.
Can anyone give me a rough idea of renting, say a 2-bedroomed apartment/small house in the area please?
Would Lagoa be quite a bit cheaper? Thank-you

Lagoa would be cheaper, and probably easier to get a long let as Carvoeiro has so many holiday lets in the summer and it is normally only possible to have a 6 month winter let at reasonable prices.

The best thing is to put an ad in the algarve resident - or here on the forum.
