The latest Afpop advice states: "

Hence, on the basis of reciprocity, then the EU ( Portugal) ought to accept the NHS Covid Certificate meaning a PCR/Lateral Flow test is not needed before arrival.

So, it shouldn't be necessary to take a pre-departure test, but it seems that it is.....anyone had any recent experience? Perhaps it;s just a delay in issuing the corrected regulations?NHS COVID Pass holders, who do not also have an EU digital COVID certificate, must
