just heard on the radio that we are in for a hot couple of days up in the 40ºs. Make sure you drink LOTS of water, not just when you are thirsty, try to go out only if you have to and either early morning or late afternoon (I know it's impossible for workers!) and don't forget hat's

………......and don't forget hat's where the heart is coz where ever you lay your hat’s your home. A hat’s also good for keeping the sun off (in high tempretures [sp]……)

Guys, just water is for the plants ......
Take a pint glass , plenty of ice , lemon , 1/4 fizzy white wine and 3/4 fizzy water. Good wine for this is" Castiço" at the intermarchee ( sorry Gambrinus )

…….sounds boring I know, but, it’s not a bad idea to drink at least a litre of water a day in this heat. And that’s in between those other more enjoyable drinks [if you must]….buy those small bottles of agua and carry one around with you wherever you go….taking little sips……
Dr D
["when in rome do as the romans do"]
….. learn from the Portuguese…..they drink small beers [imperials] or a small coffee with a little water as a chaser…..save getting-pissed till after dark…....

(the purity of the mountain…..….…helps you enjoy moments of calm and inner peace)

Anyhow, they were probaly "Hill Billy" salmon........
My brother Bill runs a still on the hill
Where he turns out a gallon or two
And the buzzards in the sky get so drunk they can not fly
Just from sniffing that good old mountain dew.
Chorus
They call it that good old mountan dew,
And them that refuse it are few.
I'll hush up my mug if you'll fill up my jug
With that good old mountain dew.
