Weird or what! It would be interesting to know,if there are any dyslexic people out there, just what they think.

The article also goes on to say,someone is considering writing a computer program, that could turn 'normal' text into the above format, to make things easier to read.

Phew------that is weird isnt it Jackie. Yes i read it with no prob. No I'm not dyslexic but i know 3 people who are and i'm going to send it to them now!

That's a strange article Jackie. The point is anyone finds it as easy to read as normal text, not dyslexic people find it easier.

Hi Jackie, yes that is very interesting. When my 10 year old, dyslexic boy comes in from football I'll get him to try and read it!.
Some information by the way that may be useful to parents of dyslexic children, my son (and I) have just completed a 5 month intensive programme specifically for people with learning difficulties and dyslexia called Toe by Toe. I can't tell you how fantastic it was, in the begining my child couldn't read the word CAME, he can now read such words as INCREDIBLE, PHYSICS, SUPERNATURAL etc, I would recommend it to anyone.

Hi Jackie, no I'm not dyslexic (although my boss would probably say different!!) I just found it very easy to read. I e-mailed the article to my daughter (who is also not dyslexic) and she agreed.

I find that very interesting. I also know that the mind works by way of predictive thought. It will look at all the possibilities for making a sentence and if it recognises anything similar it will take as being that.
So in effect we are always two words ahead of ourselves.

I use a similar approach in my line of work. I help people quit smoking and thoughts are used in the same way. We oftem predict what will happen to keep us safe before it has happened and with smoking there is a chemical reaction that causes the part of the brain that keeps us safe to feel fear. We then put in to effect a safety net that we know will stop it. Smoke a cigarette. The nicotine then appears to relieve this fear and gives the smoker the impression they have some how got rid of the fear. what they do not realise is that an hour later they will feel the reaction again.

God thats weird perhaps I am dyslexic which would probably explain a few probs at work.
