Disabled Parking

Does anyone know whether disabled parking is the same as in the UK? In particular parking on yellow lines and time limit, esp in towns. Also about payment eg: in London (not Westminster though) you can park for free on meters for an unlimited time.

A weblink would be really useful as long as it's in English!

Jo :)

Sorry Jo, I can't help you on this one but hopefully by bringing your query to the top again it may get renewed interest

Thanks a lot Bleeker - much appreciated!

Unfortunately, Portugal doesn't allow as many concessions as the UK at the moment :(

but never mind!

there is a parking space outside the Carvoeiro sol hotel for the disabled, and I see Intermache have just saved two spaces in front of the shop
