Alvor a dump? It will be soon with all the construction that's going to take place...I'd replace Alvor with Praia da Rocha and CVO for Albufeira.

well maaybe I am not too fussy but I quite like all of them and I like CVO most and whats wrong with Bar crawls. they can be fun beach during day and restaurant for dinner then a bar walk that becomes a bar crawl

Villa Real has my vote.....and if want to pub crawl, Monte Gordo is only 3 km down the beach.

well i don,t know about the rest of yis but i think armacao is great ..nice to be with local tourists..food is great ..prices have to the best in the algarve..the beach is out of this world and if you follow it back toward porches the clifftop walk is just wow..yea there still building but what do you expect and it seems to be a bit more tastefull..im not really a party animal so not having a clatter of kareoke bars and niteclubs is ok by me ..be honest theres a limit to the amount of times you can take some young one from leeds or essex or wherever destroying i will survive ..after a while your hoping she doesn,t...sorry if i sound a bit defensive here but i think theres a bit of a snob elephant at work here..by the way if your into fishing villeges try cabannass..the whole coastline down that side is something else..now rant over

yes but surely people dont come overseas simply to go on a bar crawl..if you want that stay at home..surely coming to portugal means to sample a different way of life..new food..new sights.

cvo has now just become a tourist town dump what character it did have has now been submerged beneath a myriad of bars , pubs , restuarants.

The point I wish to make is that I live in Quarteira by choice. Because it is a Portuguese town.

The Mona Lisa and the other establishments in 'Greasy Spoon Alley' do not represent the rest of the town.
